Paula Boulton has been awarded a Grant by the Arts Council to do Phase 2 of her Sounds of Home project. The grant will enable her to form The Sounds of Home Ensemble - an orchestra capable of playing the music she composed last year. She will work with Venezuelan Conductor Elio Andrade whom she interviewed in phase one and together they see this as the first step to establishing a permanent Classical Orchestra in Corby Anna Partyka Judge will be guest Conductor - she used to teach Music at Our Ladys. The Project will be managed by Michelle Ferguson. Paula will also: deliver music workshops to the community and composition workshops in schools. develop her composing further working with London based Orchestrator Peter Murphy - who Orchestrates for The Czech Philharmonic interview some more new arrivals Compose more music based on interviews with Corby people Expand the existing orchestra piece to Symphony Orchestra size.
